SunGard Availability Services Pandemic Incident Management Exercise will provide the opportunity for participants to experience what they would do in the face of a crisis. What actions would you take to ensure that your company survived another day?

 

Participants will work as teams, representing departments in our fictional company. But the events you will be asked to respond to could happen, at different times and in different places, to companies just like yours.

 

When you arrive, you will be assigned to a particular team.  Working with your “department”, you will review continuity plan materials about your company, and then will interact with the other departments & groups, both inside your company and with external groups.

Ø      What will you say if the news team looking for a scoop about your company’s disaster confronts you?

Ø      What will you discover within the plan that will allow you to make solid business decisions concerning your corporate survival?

Debriefing exercise. Get the chance to critique the decisions made by your department and “company”, and gain some insight into alternative actions that might have been possible.
