    ·                     During your stay, enter and exit only through the Main Lobby entryway.  Follow the road signs as you enter the Palmetto GBA parking lot or “look for the fountain”. 

    ·                     Park in white-striped parking spaces only unless you have a valid SC handicapped license or hang tag.  Do not park in Customer/Visitor or any other yellow-striped special parking spaces.

    For security purposes, you are required to wear your meeting lapel sticker at all times while in Palmetto GBA. You will receive it when you sign for the meeting in the lobby.

  •  Topic 1:

    John Kunert is a Project Manager for First Restoration Services of Charlotte, N.C.  He is the head of the division that provides Business Continuity resources for property and facility managers.  In this capacity, he as developed a proprietary recovery solution for commercial facilities, which involves contingency planning for various disasters, the testing of plans with key stakeholders utilizing a sequence of “gaming processes”, and the integration of resources for immediate response and on site recovery management.

    John has an extensive knowledge base combined with significant experience regarding the process of “gaming”, which in business continuity is “testing” or “exercises”. Since moving into the private sector, he has seen the need for has applied his “gaming” experience for the betterment of Business Continuity. John will present his approach under the title “Gaming Theory and Exercise Constructs:  A Means to a Solid Contingency Plan”.

    I have attached Mr. Kunert’s bio, which is highly suggest reading to fully appreciate not only the man, but his knowledge and experience. You are not going to want to miss this opportunity to learn new ideas and approaches to one of the most critical aspect of Business Continuity Planning, “Testing” or as we will see, “Gaming”.
